Sedimentary facies identification is basal work of studing stratum structure and describing reservoir, it plays important action in the exploration and development of petroleum. Sedimentary facies maps describes all kinds of sedimentary facies'special distribution in given stratum cell of given region. Because of complicated underground causation and excessive associated factor, artificial analysis to sedimentary facies is overburden. Drawding sedimentary facies maps is a fussy and careful work, artificial drawing of which is overburden. Author intention is integrateing artificial analysis with cyber-computation, and realizing automatic drawing sedimentary facies maps according as the standard of manual acting. At present, the technology of automatic drawing sedimentary facies maps is at the practice stage in oil field. The author has developed some researching work on it. The paper includes three aspects. First, study Genetic Arithmetic (GA) and BP neural network technology, build sedimentary facies identification bases on GA-BP network, realize automatic identifing to sedimentary facies. Second, improve incremental insertional algorithm, apply Delaunay triangulation, draw sedimentary facies maps. Last, build the software system of automatic drawing sedimentary facies maps. After reserching for relative theory many times, the author exploited this software system. This system can not only realize automatic identifing to sedimentary facies with GA and BP, but also realize automatic drawing sedimentary facies maps with Delaunay triangulation, provide effective aid decision method for people doing analysis work. And this system runs in web, provide agile and convenient tools for searching and analysing vectorgraph. Not only the system improved technologist's working efficiency, but also provided advantageous theory foundation for reservoir analysis.
