With the development and popularity of the computer, the home entertainment, education and training, video surveillance and many other fields will require color television's standard video signal to be displayed on the computer monitor. With the development of multimedia technology, the modern home theater has the more video signal source equipment, that requires the TV to process more format of the video signal, for example, from computer graphics VGA signal. As the flat-panel display technology vigorous development, people set a higher request to the screen refresh rate and images geometric distortion, then DVI signals present. DVI signal have a wide range of applications due to differential characteristics of serial. Considering S_Video/CVBS analog TV video signal, VGA computer video signals and DVI digital video signals the present application domain, a type of equipment is required to convert these types of common video signal.In this paper, S_Video / CVBS analog TV video signal, analog VGA computer video signals and DVI digital video signals are detailed presented, the corresponding video interface are introduced. A multi-format video signal conversion circuit is designed for a variety of input video signal conversion formats. Circuit is composed of VGA signal to the DVI signal conversion circuit modules, S_Video / CVBS signals to the VGA signal conversion circuit modules, VGA signal to S_Video / CVBS signal converter circuit module. The system may realize the following function: various resolution of the VGA computer video signals convert into DVI digital video signals; various standard formats S_Video / CVBS signal convert into the VGA signal that resolution can be adjusted, highest resolution may reach 1280×1024@60Hz; various resolution of the VGA computer video signals convert into various standard S_Video / CVBS signal.I2C bus protocol which widely uses to the video special-purpose electronic device is introduced. The core chip P89C668 I2C interface (SIO1) principle is detailed presented, the I2C bus configuration Programs and OSD functions Programs are designed. Ultimately the video signal conversion circuit debugging is successfully completed.In the long transmission distance, the image quality and antijamming ability of the higher applications, video on optical fiber transmission system has important significance. Based on video fiber transmission of the current development and application, Study the basic principles of optical fiber communication and video on optical fiber communication. Discussed the Time Division Multiplexing (TDM) and wavelength division multiplying (WDM) in the digital video optical fiber transmission system's application. A better data and video composite fiber-optic transmission method is presented.
