PCM-FM telemetry mechanism has been widely used in aerospace telemetry system. With the rapid development of aerospace technology, transmitting higher bit rate telemetry signal is needed to satisfy aircrafts'requirement of increased telemetry transmitted information. Due to multipath propagation of signal, high bit rate transmitted signal will be significantly influenced by time delay. In order to evaluate performance when transmitting high bit rate telemetry signal in different channel, it is necessary to develop a simulation software platform. This thesis introduces the idea of modular program design that is complied in software design. Object oriented is used to design required class, to enhance maintenance and extensibility of the software. Multithreading technique which can improve running efficiency is adopted. Modulation and demodulation of telemetry signal, and bit error performance, etc, are simulated. Related algorithms are introduced for channel models in different environment and characteristics of channel are analyzed by the software.
