Research Of Spectrum Sensing Technology Based On Cognitive Radio

With the development of wireless communications technology,there have been a severe unbalance in spectrum resources. The bands which can be used come to saturation, but many bands which haves been distributed are not used very often. The best solution for the problems is to adopt cognitive radio technology to reuse the distributed spectrum resource to improve the utilization of spectrum resources.This paper improves the CR spectrum sensing frame on the base of traditional OSI model and imports network management system to CR sensing system structure model in WRAN. We add spectrum sensing module to physical layer, sensing agent module to data link layer and network management module in application layer. This shows the delicacy and intelligence of cognitive radio by cooperation of different module in spectrum sensing. This paper initiates a deep research in physical layer of this module and makes a key research about power detection method. We make a simulation for the performance of power detection method in WRAN. The result shows that this method could effectively carry out the detection of spectrum.
