The newest video coding standard, H.264 CODEC has been introduced with significant enhancements. But due to its heavy calculation, it can't well perform on limited embedded devices. Intel XScale PXA27x is one of the newest embedded CPU supporting Intel WirelessMMX technology. In this paper, H.264's bottlenecks are analyzed and optimized exploiting WirelessMMX and pipeline techniques, enhanced CODEC rate. For decreasing the computational complexity of motion estimation in video coding standard H.264,According to H. 264 related features made applicable to a H. 264 motion estimated algorithms。Through extensive experiments proved,The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can provide better competitive performance than the full search algorithm , and that the computational cost is reduced efficiently with similar visual quality and bit rate., the algorithms is adapted to the H. 264 better motion estimation.
