The fuzzy and neural control are two of the forward positions of intelligent control. The design theories and applications of fuzzy and controller are discussed in this thesis. Several fuzzy-neuro-PID control strategies are proposed and the simulation experiments in MATLAB of controlling industrial plants are made. Because the traditional PID controlling method based on accurate model can't satisfy the performance of controlling industrial plants with uncertainties and complexity to model. The main contents of this thesis are as follows:1) Generalize the development, present condition and outlook of the automatic control theory , fuzzy control and neural control ;Point out the defect and shortage of traditional PID control method; Demonstrate the necessity of designing advanced PID control strategy.2) Discuss the principle and design method of fuzzy and single neuron controller.3) Propose the fuzzy PID compound control method based on the type of controlled plant which exists large inertial link and hard to model etc. such as burner of boiler. This strategy adopts the fuzzy control within the scope of big error which speed dynamic process of response and adopts the PID control within small which removes the steady error and carry out accurate control. quality that satisfies the performance and has better speediness, steady accuracy, strong robustness also anti-interference ability.4) Propose the intelligent PID based on the network of single neuron which aims at solving the controlled plants that have nonlinearity ,multi-variable, large lag and interference such as supper-heated steam temperature system.5) Propose the Advanced compound Fuzzy-Neuro-PID Control Strategy based on the network of single neuron and fuzzy PID compound control method. The simulation results show that it has integrated the excellency of fuzzy control and neural control and traditional PID control method. It has more real-time speciality and strong robustness and steady accuracy then the intelligent PID and fuzzy PID compound control method. Also the simulation results show that it has very excellent control quality.
