The technology of targets recognition and targets tracking related to computer digital image processing, pattern recognition, artificial intelligence and other areas is widely applied in many aspects such as military, industrial,life and so on.This paper mainly focuses on aircraft targets before taking off. The study is divided into three areas: image pre-processing, target recognition and tracking of targets.In the image pre-processing aspect, primarily judges whether the aircraft has stopped by use of histogram; then subtracts, dilates, binarizes on the image laying the foundation for the edge detection and contour Extraction; at last makes use of the technology of contour extraction to get target contour.In the target recognition aspect, firstly calculates out and extracts the geometric characteristics based on the contour; secondly because of this paper's specialty, accomplishes target recognition about the type of aircraft with the method of establishing model bases and matching the geometric characteristics.In the target tracking aspect, uses matching color-model characteristics and Kalman filter predicting measure to complete target tracking. There comes a new think of two predicting and one matching to improve the Kalman filter. That decreases the matched computing, increases the real-time, and gets the aim to video the process of the aircraft taking-off. |
