The Research And Implementation Of Motion Estimation Based On The H.264 Coding

H.264 is the latest video coding standard, the coding efficiency significantly improved compared with other video coding efficiency standards, with good prospects for development. However, the introduction of a series of new technology, greatly increasing the complexity of the algorithm and can not meet the requirements of transmission, therefore, to improve its key algorithm, and efficient so that it can meet the needs of real-time critical.This thesis mainly studied the H.264 video coding standard of critical technologies. Analysis of the H.264 video coding standard coding in terms of the largest impact on the motion estimation module in several fast search algorithm, some rapid movement from the advantages of search algorithm for the search mode and speed up improvement strategies do with H.264 coding features, an improved fast hexagonal motion estimation algorithm, the algorithm in H.264 standard on the basis of a coding system improve search efficiency. DSP as a platform to achieve the H.264 coding system, combining TMS320C6416 DSP own characteristics on the H.264 coding system transplants optimization, and ultimately achieving real-time encoding results.
