As the development of the Internet, the communication of the multimedia information has become more and more prevalent in depth and width than before. The digital works, important information and Internet trade can be issued over the Internet, but at the same time, it appears a series of problems. The pirate and tampering are more and more simple. Digital watermarking as a new mean to provide copyright protection and authentication of multimedia data has been developing rapidly since 1990's, and becomes an internationally hot topic at present. In this paper, the main task is focused on digital audio watermark scheme. Firstly, the meaning of the task, the research background, and the related concepts and characteristics are introduced. Some typical methods are reviewed as well. Secondly, basic background knowledge related is introduced. After all, three kinds of digital audio watermarking methods are proposed to solve two different problems. Aim at the requirement for the application that need solve the copyright of the multiple authors, a Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) domain multiple watermarking scheme based on Blind Source Separation (BSS) is introduced in the first method. The second method, a multipurpose watermarking scheme based on DWT, is used to solve the problem that sometime need to protect the copyright of the multimedia and locate the tampered areas simultaneously. In this method, only one watermark is used to realize two different purposes. But in fact, it is 1-bit watermark scheme. It can only detect whether there is a watermark in the host audio. To overcome this shortcoming, an improved scheme that a dual-domain multipurpose watermarking scheme based on linear mixing is introduced in the third scheme.Experimental results show that all of the three methods can satisfy the requirements of transparency, robustness and security; the watermark signal can be extracted blindly; According to practical applications, the watermarking scheme proposed in this paper can be applied in copyright protection or tampered areas localization.
