Web services and peer to peer are hot and popular technologies nowadays. They are complementary to each other and can be integrated. Integration of the two technologies not only allows web services more distributed, loose coupling and flexible, but also solve difficulties in peer to peer technology such as positioning difficulties, the lack of standards and norms as well as security control.First we designed a web services discovery model on JXTA platform which is a general developing platform of peer to peer application. On the basis of better research on the technologies of peer to peer and Web Services, and analysis of the JXTA platform, We use a flexible and lightweight containers for packaging to realize the information exchange between web services and JXTA platform. Model use a proxy to manage the publishing, location and invocation of web services. A proxy presents a peer which makes the peer and its services to be exposed on the JXTA platform. In the security access control, we designed a role and agent based access control model. The model expanded web services'security mechanism to peer to peer platform access control. Through the establishment of the role and privilege of groups, the proxy no only deal the user's information to acquire the role and privilege information, but also to deal with the information from other proxies. In order to test the model, we build a test platform. The test shows that the model not only achieve the information exchange between JXTA platform and web services, but also enhance the system's security performance, which has a certain theory and application value.
