| Recently, in globe economic environment, Software Engineering confronted with challenge. Agile software process becomes one of the most rational development patterns. Compared to traditional process, it emphasizes agility adaptability, as it can assist software enterprise to make rapid response to the market. There are a number of agile methods such as extreme programming (XP), feature-driven development (FDD), Scrum and agility unified process (AUP) and so on.FDD is a fast, iterative development process used model-driven, and a development pattern which is special to the middle and small enterprise. To FDD, it is not have a long process as traditional engineering process, it develops and interacts continually. So it adapts to fast-development projects. As one of the numbers of agile process, feature-driven development is adopted by more and more enterprises, which relies on its excellent standpoints. These features are brief, practical, and they are easily accepted by group and can be applied to the variable requirements. After the requirement of Jiangsu province E-government's subsystem-the mining right system is analyzed, and a few typical development methods are compared with. At last the conclusion of using FDD method is concluded.The paper is on the basis of the software development process about feature-driven development theory. Combined to the practical software project, the detailed approaches are analyzed; the eight best practices are applied to the whole system development. For evaluating generally efficacy of the method, it was applied in the whole development process of the mining right system and the system has been finished well. So there are high quality and finish on time in the project.According to the problems of the pattern, the details to resolve these problems are provided by using the feature-driven development for mining right system. The aim is to provide more perfect schemes of software development process for software enterprises in china. |
