Quadratic Mixed Functional Uniform B Splines With Shape Parameter

This thesis is composed of six chapters.In the first chapter, the author bridfly introduces the background and the main Content of this thesis. The second chapter is focused on the B-splinecurve' s definition and properties. The third,fourth and fifth chapter introduces the uniform B-spline, the trigonometric B-spline and the hyperbolic B-spline with parameter separately.In the last chapter, the author introduces the quadratic blending uniform B-spline function with parameter. Using technique of control polygon, three types of quadratic mixed functional curves with shape parameters. Taking proper values of the parameters, one can not only totally or locally adjust the shape of the curves, and can interpolate directly some control points as well. Moreover, different segments of the same curve can change from one type to another type among polynomial, trigonomial or hyperbolic functions.
