Multi-Agent Intrusion Detection System Based On Immune Theory

With the rapid development of computer and communication technologies, computer applications are widely and deeply step-by-step. When more and more companies and users surf Internet, network security becomes a unavoidable problem people have to face. Now single firewall can't protect network security while the hacker have more and more enriching knowledge and evasion tool becomes more and more complex. It is necessary to adopt a deep and multiplex method. Under this background, as a important component of detecting illicit activities which aims at computer and network and preventing them from destroying, intrusion detection system was born.First of all, the paper introduces the intrusion detection system particularly which includes the history of the development of intrusion detection, the classification of the intrusion detection system, the correlative technology and so on. The article shows the main study and the innovation moreover.Next, the discourse analyses the artificial immune system and the Multi-Agent system. It introduces the theory,the function and the characteristic of the biology immune system firstly for the artificial immune system. Then it discusses the algorithm of the artificial immune system based on biology immune mechanism particularly. It compares the biology immune system with the intrusion detection system simultaneously. At last it introduces the study actuality internal and external of the applying immune theory to intrusion detection system detailedly. It recommends the definition and the speciality of the Agent,the summarization of the Multi-Agent system and the Multi-Agent system based on immunology, and it compares the Multi-Agent system with the immune system in the first place for the Multi-Agent system. Then it introduces the technology superiority and the study actuality of the intrusion detection system based on the Agent. At last, the paper puts forward the Multi-Agent immune detection algorithm based on the content above and introduces the basic idea,the work process and the algorithm flow in detail and analyses the operator,the astringency and the performance of the algorithm.Then, the article advances the Multi-Agent intrusion detection system model based on immune theory and describes the system model in math, as well as it analyses the model realization through five modules which are network data bag capture module,network agreement analysis module,rule resolution module,intrusion detection module and interface show module.At last, the study summarizes the main work and views the develop direction of the task for the future.
