Study On Ontology-based Information Extraction Of Emergency Case

Valuable emergency cases have very imporant meaning to guide and develop new preparatory programs in EDSS. And nowadays web information resource is happening a changing trace, from non-structural to semi-structural, to structural and then to semantic structural. During this kind of mass and disorded changing period, and in order to realize the extraction and integration of informations for a great many available it needs an effective strategy to meet the change. In this paper we make good use of Ontology to describe and express the knowledge and realize the extraction and integration of the desired kowledge and information.The paper based upon the study and research of the information extraction and proposed a approach of information extraction in case of Emergency case. In this method, firstly, we use Ontology to dentify and describe the conceptes, relationshiops and keywords, etc., for the emergency cases. Because the complex of the emergency case, we divded the integrated cases into two parts, the base event and the whole event, in order to improve the efficence for the extraction and define the corresponding extraction rules for each part.Second, we applied some pretreatment process of syntax analysis for Chinese character and the result of the pretreatment. The result will match to the extraction rules developed at the first step. The match actions also have two parts; first will mache the resource with the extraction of base event. If the result meets the requirement of all stuff of the base event, you can save the result to the case database. And then move on to match the resource with the whole case stuff and update the case after finish the extraction.With this method and application of emergency cases, it realized the case extraction system on emergency field. In the implement, we used JAPE language to define the rules for the extraction and ICTCLAS to complete the syntax process for Chinese charactor resource.In this paper, it describes the framework, implement structure, and flow of the information extraction. The IDE platform is based on Eclipse and JAVA. And the Protege tool is used for describtion the Emergency case Ontology, in order to complete the information extraction system based on emergency case Ontology.Finally, the experiment result proves that extraction rule with the guide of Ontology is reasonable and valuable for the realizable application. And also, we analyzed the next step and research direction for the further study.
