We have analyzed the characteristics of network gambling cases of Jinhua City which had been uncovered, network gambling sites are mostly found on high-grade hotels and network landing sites which have relatively fixed characteristics.With the development of information technology in the police bureau of Jinhua City, as its underling-systems, the hotel management system, hotel netting security systems and other network subsystems have accumulated large amounts of business data. The data collected in these systems can be effective coverage of the main features of Internet gambling.Firstly, aiming at the status quo of present police information system which is affairs function being basically improved and the analysis function being lack, closely integrating the characteristics of network gambling to analyze problems, using the available data of police subsystem, adopting the decision tree method using data mining technology, we design a network gambling precaution system based on the decision tree.Secondly, using sample database (mainly the existing network gambling suspects), using the decision Tree ID3 algorithm to analyze of the age of criminal suspects,whether visiting the charged website,whether having the history of gambling using the decision Tree ID3 algorithm, we establish given objects classification model and distill classification rules. Then we discover the laws and trends of the new crime, and understand of the linkages between the various conditions, then identify its internal rules, thereby we find the main features of criminal suspects.Finally, according to known target attributes, the system will classify suspects passengers into different groups in accordance with the suspicion degree. The decision-makers can observe the entire data in the database from the relatively high level, and can use a different reconnaissance strategies to treat different levels of suspect passengers.Network gambling precaution system has launched into experiment run in the police bureau of Jinhua City and has obtained better application effect. In the practice of police work and other information management industry, this system plays an quite important reality reference value.
