Service-oriented architecture (SOA) is a design methodology aimed at maximizing the reuse of application-neutral services to increase adaptability and efficiency. Service-Oriented Architecture is an IT strategy that organizes the discrete functions contained in enterprise applications into interoperable, standards-based services that can be combined and reused quickly to meet business needs. While these concepts have existed for decades, the adoption of SOA is accelerating due to the emergence of standards-based integration technologies like Web services and XML. Within this thesis you will gain practical knowledge on how to leverage today's technology to implement SOA.The thesis insists of four parts. The first part introduces research background, history of service-oriented architecture and current research in order to present general requirements of SOA. The second part analyzes the Credit-Approval System's requirement based on SOA, and founded the layered-design mode. The third part describes the design and implementation of the Credit-Approval System's main processing, take the security into accounts, this thesis researchs the design and management of security. And then gains the practice of SOA implementing. Last but not least, the thesis synopsizes assignments in research and system construction as well as designs future research roadmaps.
