Active power filter technique development is reviewed briefly. The Active Power Filters(APFs) are classified. A method of detecting harmonic voltage is proposed based on the instantaneous reactive power method. A new control approach named combined control approach that is detecting power harmonic current and power harmonic voltage is presented and applied to the series hybrid active power filter. The analysis and simulation results show that the series hybrid active power filter with combined control approach has excellent compensation performance. The research also show that harmonic detecting effect is greatly influenced by the Low Pass Filter(LPF)'s parameters , and the research results are of great help to the design and research of the harmonic detecting circuits. |
