The protection of the information has become more and more important as the information period is becoming. The safe information is always encrypted to transfer. The cryptology is considered as the safest way to communicate. However, the cryptology encrypts the information to disorder codes, which can easily be paid attention and be the punching bag. In this situation, the information hiding technique has appeared and been the effective means of secret communication, and rapidly becomes the topical issue in international studies. Information hiding technique embeds secret information into public data to transfer using any ways of signal processing. It is the existence that the information hiding hides. It can hardly be paid attention.This paper mainly studies the realization of the real-time embedded system for audio steganography, and introduces two audio information hiding algorithms based on blind-detection: the algorithm based on energy ratio-adjust and the algorithm based on DWT. Also, the embedded system is discussed from the hardware and software.At first, this paper introduces the background and the significant of this issue, and the content structure. The audio information hiding technique is followed. Human auditive system has two characters: the audio shelter effect and the un-sensitivity to absolute phase of sound signal, which make it possible to hide in audio files. Meanwhile, some common audio information hiding algorithms are introduced from the time domain and the transform domain, and some analysis and evaluation are given. In Chapter III, data-checking and code-correcting are discussed. BCH coding and convolution coding are mainly introduced. Two audio information hiding algorithms are presented in Chapter IV: the algorithm based on energy ratio-adjust and the algorithm based on DWT, the capability of the algorithms is compared from the capacitance, the insensitivity and the robustness. The improved algorithm based on energy ratio-adjust is advanced in the insensitivity and the robustness. In Chapter V, embedded system for audio steganography is realized in software and hardware.At last, this paper summarizes the contents of the issue, and discusses the research trend.
