To re-know the historical status and communication practice of Journal of Liji Medical School in Qing Dynasty, the author assumes the method of Primitive materials based on communication theory were researched. Through the research, the author finds :The Journal of Liji Medical School which had the same fate as the Reformation was the bud of Chinese university sci-tech journal, the first Reformation publication in the southern Zhejiang, and was the beginning of Chinese medicine bulletin. Its founding organization Liji Medical School was the first Chinese medical school. It is Liji Hospital, Liji Medical School, Journal, Xinlan Library that formed the communication organization supporting each other, and shaped a special communication model of medicine, education, journal and library .This typical case that contained the profound study value of journalism and sci-tech communication had became the paradigm of later university sci-tech journal. Wenzhou's local cultural characteristics have profoundly made it less radical color, more pragmatic management. This journal promoted the development of modern Wenzhou, and reflected modern Wenzhou's development.
