Fusarium species are varied and it distributes widely. Some of them are the pathogens which are the result of a variety of agriculture, forestry, plant disease, it can cause the wilting of crops, ear rot, decay and other diseases. Some of them are harmful to the crops seeds, it can produce toxin to harm the crops during its growth and development in the process of metabolism. It can cause the wilting or death of crops and affect the farm produce production and quality, sometimes it can lead to serious production dropped significantly. In addition, some types of Fusarium can grow in a variety of food and produce toxic metabolite, pigs, horses, donkeys and other livestock would show symptoms of poisoning after them eat it. The human being will show poisoning symptoms after they eat the mouldy food half an hour to one hour, the light may be vomiting, diarrhea and anti-feeding, the weight can cause death. Therefore, it is scientific and practical significance for the Fusarium Recognition and our life to study the Fusarium image preprocessing technology.In this paper, first of all, it expounded on the development, characters and application of the digital image processing. Secondly, it introduced the theory definition and objectives of image segmentation, as well as the evaluation about image segmentation. Image segmentation is a procedure. It divided the whole image area into several sub-domains, each sub-domain is not a null sub-domain, it is not overlapped, every sub-domains is connective inside and it has the same or similar characteristics within the same sub-domain. Image characteristics can be divided into two parts, one is Image statistical characteristic, the other is image vision characteristic. In this paper, the image segmentation algorithm is divided into three categories: based on the threshold, based on the edge and based on the region. With the advancement of science and technology, some new theories and new ways emerged gradually, some of them merged with specific theoretical tools, this specific theoretical tools include mathematical morphology, fuzzy techniques, neural networks, wavelet and so on.Secondly, in this paper, it described and analyzed the segmentation method based on the edge in the domain of image segmentation in detail. It did experiments on several edge detection operators using MATLAB, it summarized the advantage and the shortcoming of traditional edge detection operators, and the operating environment. On the basis of the experimental analysis, it implemented an edge location more precise, more efficient operating speed edge extraction method——Template Vector. In this method, it optimized differential approximate calculation of first differential operators the paper mentioned. After experimented on this edge extraction method, contracted with the traditional methods, the edge outline is extracted more accurately and more exquisitely, furthermore, it retained the object outline (object or clear noise) furthest, and achieved more satisfied edge extraction result.The last, in this paper, it designed and implemented a Fusarium Microorganism Micorgraph Procession System——MFCDIP-Fusarium using Visual C++ 6.0 as development environment and MATLAB 7.0 as experiment environment. This system implemented the Template Vector Edge Extraction Method. It put forward an ideas further——the application feasibility study of image gray-scale stratification technology on micrograph segmentation. It analyzed the implement possibility of image gray-scale stratification technology on theory and algorithm, and it designed image gray-scale stratification technology algorithm.
