Study On Integration Of Geometric Features And Processing Features Based On SE

The integration of part's geometric and processing information is one of the key technologies in CAD/CAM.In the thesis,modeling technology for feature and content of part's feature information are introduced.The frame of part's information integtation in SE(Solid Edge) is put forward,that is,attaching the processing feature property table to some geometry factor and setting the parameters of processing features in the generated attached property tables in order to express all the information integratingly in the same part document.The naming rule of geometry factor,property table and attached property table is concluded by anlysis.Finally, secondary development of SE is carried out with Visual Basic.NET,and information accession procedures for form and position tolerance,surface roughness,local heat treating,thread rank and manage feature are compiled. The software has friendly interface, which guide user to add the processing information during 3D geometry modeling period. The ultimate document saves integral engineering information and can provide certain service for the future CAPP and CAM.
