This paper based on a case about ixxxx mobile aluminum enclosure, describe a concrete application study of quality control tool , so as to define and control the critical quality point .Per failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) of housing process , conclude that , housing width size, adhesive strength, surface resistance are the critical quality point, and these problems, how to measure housing width, how to choose adhesive for enclosure assembly, and how to redtuce the housing surface resistance are bottleneck.By using measurement system analysis principle, calculating the value of gage repeatability and reproducibility, in order to evaluate feasibility of housing width quickly gage. About choosing adhesive, define peel and shear as bonding strength character parameter, after compare with kinds of adhesive quality by analysis of variance (ANOVA) way, define the adhesive that suitable of mass production. And other side, analysis the factor of surface resistance by cause and effect diagram, conclusion is the spring finger design is major factor. Analysis surface resistance by boxplot, 4 clawers finger design is helpful to reduce surface resistance.Based on massive data that collected in development process, define the critical quality specification for mass production controlling.
