TheLIDARcombineslasertechnologyandradartechnology;ithashighresolution,anti-interference capability, and the ability of three-dimensional imaging. It is usuallyused for ranging, angle measurement, precision tracking, sensing fuses, the spacecraftnavigation, meteorological measurements and so on. It is of great value in both civilianandmilitaryapplications.This paper focuses on the study of Signal Receiving Circuit of LIDAR; first, itintroduces the theories of LIDAR and high speed photoelectric detection, and thenmakes a research on and designs the Receiving Circuit of LIDAR according to thesetheories. This circuit consists of three sub-blocks, photoelectric transformer, amplifiercircuit and time discriminating circuit. In the circuit, we used a PIN-FET photoelectricreceiving component as a photoelectric transformer; wide band, low noise and variableamplifier AD8330 was used in amplifier circuit; time discrimination circuit operates inhigh-pass mode and use the high speed voltage comparator ADCMP567, which canreducetheerrorcausedbysignalamplitudevarietyandpromotethesystem'sresolution.According to the system's characteristic and the theory of circuit design, this paperprovides the equation of the band, noise and so on. It is tested that the performance oftheLIDAR'sreceivingcircuitsatisfiestherequestoftheprinciplesystem.
