The research of image fusion technology just steps, but it has obtained plenty of research results and has more attention to the fields of application such as intelligent information process, medicine, military and remote sensing. Meanwhile the development of wavelet transform makes it advantaged greatly in nonlinear information processing, this paper gives a fusion method based on wavelet transform. It also apply with an improved Canny algorithm to edge detection of the pretreat prior to image fusion. It's approved this method has a perfect purpose to image fusion.The main contributions given in this dissertation as follows:1) The analysis of wavelet transform and image fusion shows in this paper. We propose a method of processing model which is based on DT DWT.2) We propose a method of edge detection which is based on Canny algorithm. The edges detected by this improved method are much more consistent with the perception of human to edges than by the traditional methods.3) The fused images are compared with such a lot of conclusion which are based on the traditional ways and double ways mentioned in the other papers. |
