Taking the multi-carrier option of Chinese Television Terrestrial Transmission Standard as research object, the author analyzed and studied the synchronization technology of the TDS-OFDM system, and proposed several optimum algorithms and realization structures.Main achievements of this paper are as follows:①This paper presents a frame head mode detection and frame synchronization algorithm which works well in the multi-path channel with the high timing frequency offset.②This paper also exploits the effects of carrier frequency offset on TDS-OFDM signals and presents a new method, which utilizes the time domain circular characteristic of PN sequences to adjust frequency offset and then uses a variable step frequency scan scheme to estimate large frequency offset,after timing recovery utilizes the time domain circular characteristic of PN sequences again to estimate fine frequency offset.③Flexible Programming Gate Arrays (FPGA) based circuit frameworks for main components of TDS-OFDM synchronization are given. |
