The Grid has become the third popular technologic wave after the traditional internet and web. It is called the third generation application of internet. Actually Grid computing has emerged as a new important technology upon the internet. It is orientated to coordinated resource sharing and problem solving in dynamic and multi-institutional virtual organizations. The popularity of Internet, significantly lower cost of the high-speed network and rapid growth of the ability of computer computing, make the change of the way people use computers, while changing traditional method of computing. Grid Computing, which is to fully utilize the geographical distribution of resources (including databases, expensive equipment and other resources of all kinds) to solve complex and large-scale problems, has become an important trend in the development of supercomputing in recent years. It can be used to solve complex problems which can't be solved by only relying on local resources.One of the advantages of using the grid computing environment is to "farm out" long-running jobs, but that means we need some ways of keeping track of those jobs and the status for each of them. This requires a mechanism to monitor and discover the grid service and all its components (network, computer nodes, storage systems and etc.) in static and dynamic state. In addition, different aspects of computational resources are distributed by their corresponding location in Grid Computing. In Grid Scheduling Model (GSM) , the objective of Schemas Mapping was matching resources for submissions on some specified computational resources. What is more, the matching needs to be completed by an algorithm. This paper uses Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) for the matching, and provides a simulation experiment that has achieved a good effect.The main tasks and contributions of the paper are as follows:(1) Research and analyze the existing Monitoring and Discovery System in grid environment;(2) Develop and deploy a complete grid monitoring system on the platform GT4, which can monitor the static and dynamic information of the grid system;(3) Use Swarm Intelligence Algorithms for the Grid Scheduling Model (GSM) , and provides a simulation experiment that has achieved a good effect..
