The Research And Implementation Of Handheld WAP Accessing Network

The thesis mainly aims to give a discussion on the process of how to connect to the Internet wirelessly by GPRS through the embedded platform, and then focus on the analysis of key technology used and the development of the embedded explorer, and gives the implementation of wireless Internet access finally.Firstly, the paper gives an introduction of embedded software and hardware platform that the development used, and the holistic structure of software and hardware.Secondly, the thesis describes the implementation of wireless Internet access, including GPRS communication technology, PPP technology and AT instruction communication standard used, and mainly describes the implement process of wireless Internet access by PPP dialing through GPRS, which refers to the configuration of embedded OS kernel, compilation and burning, the transplanting of chat and pppd programe to appointed development platform, the writing of dialing scripts, configuration related to them and the implementination of the access of dailing to Internet.After that, the paper discusses the WAP technology based on GPRS. It expatiates the WAP design idea, communication model, layered protocol structure and their technical character. And it also discusses the difference and relationship between WAP and GPRS, implementation and advantage of WAP based on GPRS.Furthermore, it gives an explaination about the development of embedded explorer in detail. The embedded explorer is implemented with Qt through embedded linux OS. After giving the concept of embedded OS and the basal knowlegde of Qt, the concrete design is described in detail, which consists of interface module, HTML text parse module, network module, cache module and display module. The parse of HTML text is the foundation of the whole explorer program, which takes the QT/embedded 2.3.7 lib as its implementation foundation.The network part mainly aims to implement the HTTP protocol which based on QSocket class. At last, a function and system test is put forward which focused on the access to common and WAP websites under the presupposition of GPRS based wireless Internet access.Accompanied with the issuance of 3G license, it is inevitable to invoke the rapid development of wireless internet, and it will be a significant for provision a research on practical technology about WAP and implementation process of wireless internet access.
