As one outcome of the information ear, mobile phone brings great changes to our life, with which people can communicate with each other anywhere and anytime. Except for communication, in recent years it's also used to trade on E-bank or wireless bond and to shop on web and so on. It means that the mobile phone has becoming the platform for entertainment and business. However, information security system is been challenged seriously by a series of problems, such as the disclosing of individual privacy and mobile telephone virus.The troubles hidden in mobile phone security system have caught people's attention more and more, which has promoted some new technologies. The fingerprint identification is an outstanding technology of them. The uniqueness and security of fingerprint make it possible to be applied to identification of mobile phone. In this way, the security system can be guarded greatly and consumer's individual privacy is protected strictly.Firstly, this paper introduces the four compositions of the fingerprint identification system, which are fingerprint image collection, the fingerprint image preprocessing, the fingerprint features extraction and the fingerprint matching. And the paper also descripts its fundamental operating principles and algorithms of the system detailedly. Then, we apply the fingerprint identification system on MTK mobile phone platform based on Atrua Wing program provided by Atrua Technologies. The software design is explanted mainly, especially about the system application interfaces and concrete functions. What's more, we give an improved algorithm for recording the fingerprint image, which adds matching limits to the recording mask. This progress can ensure that the mask is correct, improves the effect of the mask and accelerates the speed of identification.Lastly, we do some research on the fingerprint identification system applied in phone. Because of the request of security, this paper gives a digital signature with the fingerprint identification technology, which combines the fingerprint identification technology with the digital signature, improves security further. Then, a new proxy digital signature scheme based on the elliptic curve is presented, which can set the time limit to the proxysignature in the embedded environment.
