In video conference, conference call, multimedia system and many other system, transmission of speech signal always disturbed by the noise which degrade the quality of the signal. So, audio enhancement technique is needed to improve the quality of the speech signal.Audio enhancement technique could be divided into two types that is single microphone and microphone array speech enhancement technique. Currently, single microphone speech enhancement technique has been developed very well. However with the development of DSP technique, people no longer satisfied with the effect of it. Since the 1990s, microphone array speech enhancement technique has been attached more and more importance.Microphone array collect more information due to it's multiple microphones for info-collection. And further more, microphone array not only samples in the temporal domain but also samples in spatial domain. Through using the spatial selecting characteristic of microphone array, the effect of speech enhancement is much more distinct.The improvement of the performance is on the expense of more information. Larger amount of data must induce higher demand of hardware's processing ability. For real time data processing, a simplified method must be used, and rational arrangement of the hardware is required.The thesis mainly deal with the process of design a hardware system.The main task can be divided into the following aspects.1. Some basic principle related with microphone array audio enhancement are introduced.2. The scheme of hardware design for the microphone array audio enhancement system is given out with the analysis of its feasibility.3. According to the sequence of sampling, conversion, processing and output, different modules of the system are introduced in detail.4. Associated with the characteristic of ADSP-BF533, the boot process of the system is talked about. |
