With the rapid development of manufacturing industry and the updating IT technologies in China, ERP (Enterprise Resources Plan) system has been broadly accepted and applied in enterprise managements for improving the information construction and standardization. However, for the reason of unsuccessful system structures, the implements of some ERP systems are confronted with over large workload, long period and difficult maintenance, while others cost high due to the non-reusable and hardly reconstructed functions. In addition, there is no intensive quantitative model of enterprise business processes and enterprise data are often stored without any usage and analysis, as a result the configuration of resources falls flat.Aimed at these problems the thesis presents the concept of ERP system based on quantitative analysis (QAERP) which is the combo of quantity management and information technologies. QAERP system not only has the resources planning functions of the classic ERP system, but also provides the data interfaces of enterprise and its affiliated enterprises which increase the privities among the manufacturing enterprise and its suppliers, customers and assistant enterprises. The main content of QAERP is optimizing resources configuration with quantitative analysis for improving the business processes, developing efficiency and products quality of an enterprise. This thesis introduces the basic concept of quantitative analysis and ERP, summarizes the worldwide study achievements of ERP and analyzes the real content of quantitative analysis in ERP system with the samples of three methods. The system structure is studied from logic, software and hardware aspects and related technologies are introduced. A prototype of QAERP system is discussed in detail, which consists of workflow model, stocking model, producing model, inventory model, market model, project model, device model and file model. The data source operating class, business logical class and program logical class are described with UML class diagram. Finally the implement of the prototype system is given. The approaches and tools quoted have been applied in a modern manufacturing enterprise which can be a theory reference and a model case for ERP system design.
