Recently, the modeling and simulating of deformable objects is focused on by computer graphics. Analyzing the research by now, we have found out that many methods emphasize the importance of precision; however, others emphasize the signification of real-time simulation. This paper, based on hyper hierarchical bounding volume, uses Mass-Spring models to construct the deformable objects and apply the method presented to construct and simulate virtual scout environment with higher precision on the promise of necessarily real-time and interactive characteristics.First, compared with the methods based on Mass-Spring models which overlook the physical characteristics, the platform constructs soft body with Mass-Spring method, and sets tetrahedrons as the element of the model of soft body, defining structure spring and stretching spring as its springs; and it also supports the function of real-time coefficient variation to avoid the over stretch of springs.Second, based on the stiff characteristics of rigid body and the feasibility as well as efficiency of OBB-Sphere hyper hierarchical bounding volume in collision detection between rigid bodies, the tree of rigid body uses OBB-Sphere as its tree nodes; the hierarchical bounding volume tree of deformable body uses Sphere as its tree nodes, which is more efficient than the tree with AABB as its nodes.Third, analyzing the problem that it is difficult to reach the purpose of real-time modeling and rendering due to computational intension and complicated models when modeling cloth based on theory of aerodynamics or hydrodynamics, a simplified model based on aerodynamics is presented, which could simulate in real time and more realistically on the promise of satisfying the requisition of precision and ratio.Last but not least, analyzing the problem that the method of collision response is based on experience or unreal supposition, the physics conception of resistance coefficient is used to deal with collision response, of which the reasoning process and the method used to update the real-time system is also proposed.Experiments show this method could satisfy requisitions of precision and real-time modeling on construction of virtual scout environment; thus it has value in application.
