UWB impulse radio has attracted more and more attention in both academic and industrial community for its unique technical characteristics. And it will be widely used in small-scale and large-capacity indoor high-speed wireless multimedia communications, radar, precise positioning, through wall detection, imaging and measurement.Firstly, this paper studies the impact of synchronization error on the UWB system performance. It mainly includes the study of multi-path energy capture capacity and stability in the case of single sliding correlator with direct path Channel and Rake receiver in dense multipath channel.Secondly, the timing acquisition algorithm based on searching scheme is studied and a synchronization scheme with tracking is studied for UWB signals.Finally, the timing acquisition algorithm based on estimation is studied. The data aided ML estimation method is researched and its principles are interpreted. Timing acquisition is realized in symbol and frame rate and GLRT is derived under dense multipath channel, which is unrelated to the amplitude of the channel. The design of training sequences is discussed in detail. |
