In recent years, the intelligent video surveillance because of its wide application potential and the potential economic value of a study on the hot. The intelligent video surveillance as an important application of computer vision, and its main application of banks, shopping malls, district, and so on. Visual analysis of human motion focuses on people from the movement in the image sequence detection, extraction, tracking people and their behavior understanding and description. Among them, human motion detection and tracking are the low-level vision problem; it is the analysis of human motion visual basis.This paper developed in the laboratory of the H.264-based video surveillance system designed on the platform of a moving target based on the TMS320DM642 the detection & tracking algorithm.. The paper focuses on the single stationary camera environment moving object detection, shadow inhibition and moving object tracking and so on. The system can simultaneously track multiple moving targets. Contents are as follows major research papers:1) On motion detection technology, the establishment of the background to the discussion of existing and update algorithms, in the background subtraction for target detection on the basis of achieving a YUV color space based on the real-time shadows suppression algorithm, after the value of connectivity through morphological methods and regional analysis, the most complete moving target detection.2) Analysis of the current popular image segmentation algorithm, the system needs to choose a target coordinate mapping algorithm segmentation, targeted at each other close to the goal of misjudgment on the issue of improved algorithms, experimental results show that produced good results.3) A combination of normalized Kalman forecast of rotating inertia characteristics of multi-target tracking matching algorithm, the algorithm for multiple moving objects in obscured, such as merger and the split, has strong real-time and better actual results. 4) Finally realized Based on the TMS320DM642 target tracking system, the algorithm on the specific operation, summed up the movement tracking system and pointed out that the characteristics of several deficiencies in the work, and also the realization of the system theory and the work of the future.
