Based on single-stand cold mill, the normal monitor AGC can not solve thetime delay problem, the system is easily surged and the stabilization is not goodenough. Smith-AGC system can solve the time delay problem in theory which liesin AGC system. With the method of simulation, firstly we use the classical PIDcontrol cooperated with Smith predict, then use fuzzy-PID controler and smithpredictor, It has many advantages: respond quickly, low overshoot, less stableerror, stronger ability to defend the disturbance, so it can increase theprecision of board's thickness. Further more, we set up the numeric smithpredictor for iGC mode and make a simulation. We also give the measurement ofthe M and Q, finally, due to the most disturbance come from the eccentricity ofthe roll, we find a way to compensate and fix this problem. |
