In the field of remote sensing detection,the exist of polarization sensitivity of the remote sensing equipment often brings bad effect to the remote sensing information. So, the polarization sensitivity of the equipments is expected to be reduced. The polarization sensitivity testing equipment, included in this thesis,can test the linear polarization sensitivity of the spaceflight equipments,and offers experimental data for remote sensing information correcting.In this thesis,the basic knowledge of polarization light and the definitions of polarization degree and polarization sensitivity are simply introduced firstly. Then a design method is confirmed after comparing several measurements that can measure the polarization effect of the remote sensing equipments. The method is based on the basic definition of linear polarization sensitivity through constructing a linear polarization light source with invariable intensity and alterable polarization direction. After that,the schemes of the optical and electronic system, including the linear polarization light source system,Cass-grain system and low-noise electric signal processing system, are discussed in detail. Such parts as the design of the depolarizer,noise analyzing of the detector and preamplifier,design of the filter amplifier and absolute-value circuit are analyzed with emphasis. In the end,the calibrations of the polarization sensitivity testing equipment are given and the results show that the error of the linear polarization sensitivity of the equipment is less than 2%,when testing a sample with LPS=1.
