With the rapid development of 3D scanning technology, four-dimensional(4D) modeling has become one of the hottest topics in scientific volume modeling and its research results have been widely applied into a great deal of areas, such as CT, MRI and so on.In this paper,the background, feathers, and processing methods of current used in visualization of construction are included. This presentation consists of two main parts: A new method based on 4D modeling and its application to the scientific visualization is proposedIn the first part, as the most important part of our paper, pays more attention to the reconstruction field of volume data. A new approach based on spline interpolation on a uniform tetrahedral partition, which the spline coefficients are repeated by the gridded samples, is proposed. Our results confirm the efficiency of the method.Based the work on the first part, we further study the four-dimensional visualization, including 4D global illuminating model, super-surface rendering and volume image projecting techniques.
