Research And Implementation Of Embedded Fingerprint Recognition System's Hardware

With the development of information science and technology, people aware more about social public safe and personal information's safe. Traditional safe methods like key, password, IC card and"username+passord", have a common defects that they are all have the possibility of been lost, forgeted, copied and steeled. So these methods haven't satisfied people's need about safe. Under this circumstance, Biometrics identification has been progressed greatly recent years, and been used widely in social life, especially fingerprint recognition. The automated fingerprint recognition System is a biometric identification (ID) methodology that uses digital image technology to obtain, store, and analyze fingerprint data. Fingerprint, as one of the most stable human physiological characteristics, and its algorithm has been progressed greatly, has been widely used for personal identification, and its excellent effect has been proven in practice and accepted.First, it is described that the development and research state of the fingerprint recognition in chapter one. The biometric identification technology and the fingerprint recognition technology are translated in concept, and the principles and features of fingerprint recognition are given obviously too. Second, the core algorithms are given. The realizing algorithms of every function in the core algorithms and the realizing program flow of every function are given too. At last, on the basis of the algorithms, it is studied in this paper that realization of the embedded fingerprint recognition product on the platform of DSP (Digital Signal Processor). You can find the hardware skeleton diagram and the circuit diagram, the communication protocol commands the software of DSP and the software flow charts of PC in this paper.Every key segment of the fingerprint recognition system has been described in detail in this paper. It is valuable to people who are developing the fingerprint recognition system in other fields.The system described in this paper works well now. The test result is very good.
