Research And Implementation Of Steganalysis In Digital Image

With the development of multimedia and Internet technique, the security of information transform has got more and more attention. USA media reported that the terrorists may have communicated over the Internet using steganography that allows secret messages to be concealed in images on WEB. Steganalysis has commonly concerned by many people.Secret information is hidden in the undetectable position of the images. Steganography and steganalysis oppose each other, but in the other hand, they promote each other.In this thesis, a survey on the related research and recent development of steganography and steganalysis was given first. Based on the researching of different steganographic algorithms and cover images, the main work of the thesis is as below:A steganalytic algorithm was proposed based on the images' characteristics and the difference of statistics to detect the images, which were steganographied by EzStego. The experiments proved that this algorithm being of good examination result to the EzStego.On the basis of experiments, some typical steganalysis algorithm were compared and analyzed. Their scope of application and detecting efficiency were pointed out. A well designed scheme was proposed to satisfy a steganalysis system, which was realized with VC 6.0 in the Windows XP operate system.
