Cantor set is the classic deputy of disport form theory ,Cantor set has some complete characters ,such as complete,self-similar and etc. So many researchers have a great interests in Cantor set. From today on ,the application of Cantor set theory only have used in mathematic field, in other fields there is so less. We try to use Cantor set as a method to process signal . In this paper I through three side to use Cantor set to process signal, first analysis the signals which have deal with wavelet use Cantor set . Second directly use the self- define function of Cantor set to process signal .Third use Cantor set to process the second unitary signal .Above all through some self-define function of Cantor set to get the characteristic parameter then to analysis the signal, the sample signal we choose the freeway acoustic of vehicle which have been unitary to recognize the model of the vehicle . Compare the results to AR model in the same condition , and found that use the method of second unitary of Cantor set can get much better results than AR model's. So we can say that Cantor set method can use as a new way to process signal which has a bright future.
