Segmentation of image plays an import role in image processing. Geometric deformable model based on level set method is made the widespread application in image segmentation because of auto-adapted ability of topology and the steady value condition. Variational level set method has the ability of multi-model integration ability so that it is becoming the hot spot of image segmentation.C-V model is a good region-based model. When we use the model, initial active contours can be displayed in any position of image. We can make full use of region information of image that can make the model more robustness. One of the article research content is the influence of parameter in dirac function to the model.Another research content of this article is extension to the C-T model. We add a restrain term on the model so that we can avoid reinitiating sign distance function. We also add a scale coefficient in order to adjust the function of energy term. Finally, we expand the model to multiphase cases. And we extract a uniform multiphase model based on piecewise constant. A unification formula for regional partition based on the transformation between a natural number and binary numbers is introduced. Then I prove the formula. Therefore we introduce a unification model for multiphase image segmentation based on piecewise constant. The unification model make description of multiphase image brief and simple. Also the unification model is the foundation for expanding it in other ways.
