Research And Realization Of ADSL Access Network And User-Security Management System

Now, the development of Internet is very quick, the emergence of Broadband Access Network(BAN) meets the need of high speed connecting into Internet. ADSL (Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line) is one of Numerous Broadband Access(NBA) techniques. For common double wind copper line is adopted, and telephone connected into families is very popular in our country, ADSL technique is considered as the best choice to solve the last one kilometer problem. ADSL has already become the most popular NBA techniques.ADSL access network has been run in large scale, how to develop it into an easy business-operating and easy management network has already become the key work of network development. To perfect the user and security management of ADSL access network is an important factor to improve the management level of ADSL access network. Based on the actual requirement of a telecom business-operating corporation, user authentication technique is the center of this paper, the following contents are studied in the thesis:1. The model of user authentication for ADSL access network is put forward by considered the different network construct methods that ADSL connects into Internet, and the detail description of user connecting-authentication of ADSL access network is presented, which consists of compose of equipments, process of connecting-authentication and management of user authentication. The malicious access can be prevented effectively by adopted the model to manage user authentication.2. According to function characteristic of Broadband Access Server (BAS) in broadband aggregation network and BAS network structure, the principle and project of concentrated-distributed mixed BAS network structure in city IP network is put forward, and the model of user authentication for ADSL which is based on mixed BAS network structure is also put forward. The user management, service support and control function are distributed, it can improve the safety, reliability and scalability of whole network.3. The design and implementation of the ADSL user authentication system based on mixed BAS network structure is introduced. Compared to current products, it has many features, such as distributed authentication, high authentication reliability and uniform model, which can be applied to solve capacity bottleneck by concentrated authentication, to prevent malicious access and to uniform the manage policy and procedure of user authentication.The part of production in this paper has been applied to the broadband access management system of one local corporation of China Telecom. The testing results show the system can prevent malicious access and guarantee the security of BAN.
