With the development of electronic technology, more and more electric equipment is used in all fields of industry, and various requirements are proposed to the power supply. The power supply is becoming lighter, thinner, smaller, and higher efficiency. So does the switching power supply, which widely used in industry, trade, military aviation and so on.This paper aims at the designing method of switching power supply with small size and high performance. This new type of switching power supply can be used in industry vibrators, to substitute for current vibrator which based on electromotor-generator.Firstly, on the foundation of understanding the function of exist products, the paper analyzes several projects which are proposed to use on the power design. This paper elaborates on their feasibility, and chooses the more efficient circuit for the power system. Then according to the functional needs of the system, this paper points out the main circuit topology of the system, which make up of three structures: uncontrolled rectifying circuit, DC/DC converter and DC/AC converter.Forward converter is selected as the main circuit in the DC/DC converter. The principle of PWM inverter and the working modes are discussed. The stable and the dynamic characteristic in the main circuit of the DC/AC converter are analyzed. The form of main circuit and control circuit are discussed. Simulation is carried out using the MATLAB to test the function of system. The simulation result indicated that, the design of the switching power system satisfies the design requests.At last, a summary about the thesis is made. Some suggestion is proposed for next work.
