The development of embedded system is the new research focus, along with the technologies improvement of computer and communication, especially the speedy popularization of internet and computer, and the high-speed information fusion of communication and consumptive electronic products. Now, the development of portable products with high speed is the main direction in information industry. Facing the objective reality trend and developing the multi-beam products sounding suitable for shallow water have grent significance.Hence designing a suit of signal processing and controlling platform to harmomze the sub-systems such as receiver, transmitter and display etc. according to prepared system scheme is the main work in this paper. Simultaneously, the debuging of program of hardware platform, the analysis and design of fast algorithm of energy center estimation, the development and application of embeddedμCLinux are accomplished.The following details are included: the DSP, ARM, FPGA and other exterior components are programmed and debugged; the analysis and computer simulation of fast algorithm of energy center estimation are done; the development and application of embeddedμCLinux on this system are realized. Finally, kernel structure is researched, crossed translation environment is built, and the modification of kernel code based on the hardware platform and developing application program and device driver usingμCLinux are also fulfilled.
