SINS based on FOG is simple in structure, with no rotating parts and wide dynamic range. It is deeply concerned in navigation field, and it is developing quickly. The key technology of the development of SINS is the design of SIMU's hardware, the technology of alignment and the test and error calibration technology of SIMU. This paper is based on the research and development of the project named "SINS based on FOG" . This dissertation discusses the technology of calibration and test of SINS. Lots of experiments prove it has good results. This dissertation introduces the principle of FOG, the factors that have impact on FOG and the solutions. According to the standard, this dissertation designs the testing method of performance indicators. It introduces the errors of SIMU, and built then the FOG error model and the accelerometer error model. According to the model and characteristics of FOG and accelerometer, this dissertation designs testing method of them. Through numerous experiments , error coefficients are gained , which are certificated well in the system. During the experiments, not only the coupling misalignment error is needed, but also the error in the calibration experiment is needed, which will affect the precision of calibration. So in this dissertation, all the misalignment error is analyzed and the solution is proposed. Using the principle of SIMU, the verification method is designed, and the misalignment error is modified accurately further. Through numerous experiments, the accurate misalignment error is got. Finally, according to the function and serial port agreement, using VC++ and serial port control, this dissertation designs the auto calibration testing system, realized automation calibration.
