The problems of representation and control of complicated nonlinear system has been one of the important research items in control theory field. As an new searching algorithm, the Genetic Algorithm is emphasized by control theory research field for its special characteristic.This paper describes the design theory and ways of fuzzy modeling of nonlinear system based on Genetic Algorithm, including the basic theory and work means, and three updated Genetic Algorithms. Then this paper describes the details of the way to model the T-S fuzzy model based on SVM Genetic Algorithm and the way to identify the parameters of fuzzy model by Genetic Algorithm. Then this paper also describes the design way of T-S fuzzy model controller based on adaptive Genetic Algorithm and the design way of fuzzy controller based on parallel Genetic Algorithm. Finally, a simulation of inverted pendulum system demonstrates the performance of fuzzy modeling and variable schemes, and comes to a compare, draws a conclusion: the fuzzy logic control algorithm have shorter convergence time and better robustness.
