Finite element methods is a numerical value method to solve forceful actual project problems , before the analysis carrying out by finite element method ,we need to scatter the geometry model whose structure will be analysed in progress firstly, then generates the finite element mesh , and use limited element combination to analyse the geometry model similarity. With the full development of computer technology and CAE technology, the mesh generation technology has been successfully applied in the various project field, become a forceful method of solving the complicated project field problem by analysising the imitating numerical value , in the same way, providing steady foundation in the progress of CAE technology.This paper analyses mapping, grid method, topology decomposition, node connection method, geometry decomposition and paving and so on. makes a thorough research on mesh generation for carved surface based on the paving method, the study mainly include as follows:Because of the special characteristics of double curved surface , we can allott it into regulation repeated curved surface and shear repeated curved surface, analyse the characteristics of this two kinds curved surfaces respectively, according to their parameter area keeps no distorted characteristic to physics area mapping , designs partition method for this two kinds curved surface meshSyntheticing the characteristic of geometry decomposition and paving, general this two kind method be tied in wedlock, we design one kind new complicated curved surface mesh partition method which is basing on mapping method and make it come true --- geometry decompositon and paving using in complicate curved surface partition. This method is usally used in several curved surfaces after shearing, we make use of break up law to get a curved surface divid into some simple build, and then together with paving to use in mesh partition on every son area,It will do good effection while get wonderful mesh in the same time. According to the realizing details of the algorithm method that has been taken out to divide complicate curved surface mesh, We do some futher improvement and then the optimization has strengthened the algorithmic stability and reliability , it can improve algorithm efficiency.On basis of studying the algorithm method metioned above,while adopting C++.net ,we can realize the mesh generation for carved surface which based on the paving method and the decomposition method. After we apply it in practice,it has indicated the algorithm has the characteristics of simple , saving time , of high quality , and can reach the demand of CAE software to mesh generation.
