A design of the ultrasonic indoor positioning system based on the broadband sensor has been developed in the paper. The system can be used in the navigation part of the shift position, such as robots, toy oars and so on. After solving the problem of ranging, it is feasible that the system performs the positioning function with certain accuracy and range.Ultrasonic positioning technology has many merits, such as simple structure, low cost, high accuracy of the whole positioning and so on, so that has widespread applications. The indoor positioning technology designed in this paper is based on the ultrasonic, and realized by using the broadband sensor. The design principle of the system, which consists the singlechip microcomputer controll circuit, the transmit and receipt circuit of ultrasonic, the transmit and receipt circuit of synchronous signal, power supply circuit and so on, is detailedly described in this paper. Furthermore, the schematic diagram and analysis of the hardware parts are performed. The singlechip microcomputer procedure is compiled with the MCS-51 assembly language. The paper has also designed the circuit board of the system, and verified the experiment.The broadband sensor abandons two inherent limitations of traditional narrowband sensor, one is the signal interferences which corrupte reception when multiple colocated transmitters send signals; the other is poor performance in the presence of ultrasonic noise. Thus, the system transmits and receives ultrasonic signals using the broadband sensor in the paper, and it generates certain accurate, up-to-date position estimates for indoor environments with the noise source.Main works of the author:(1) Has developed a design of ultrasonic indoor positioning system based on the broadband sensor, through the study of various indoor positioning technology schemes;(2) Has designed the schematic diagram;(3) Has made the circuit board;(4) Has done the experiment, give the experimental result;(5) Has done the error analysis to the system based on the experimental result. |
