China is now during the new stage that traditional agriculture change to modern agriculture, and greenhouse environment control is one of the most important landmarks of agricultural modernization. It has become an important issue for scientists who working in agricultural industry that how to control greenhouse crops up in the best environment. In view of the existing greenhouse's shortcoming in software and hardware, this paper studied and developed a powerful, low-cost, easy to operate, precise control of intelligent monitoring greenhouse system, which suit to Chinese national conditions. The main content and conclusions of this thesis are as follows:(1) Studied the important environmental parameters in greenhouse, such as temperature, humidity, light, and analyzed the methods of regulatory control.(2) After research the structures of greenhouse control systems which already exist, a new structure for greenhouse monitoring system was given. The structure based on host and slave computer were proposed in this paper, the functional modules of this structure independent design but can cooperate in harmony. This new system can suit various type of greenhouse, host and slave system cooperative working model is suitable for large-sale greenhouse, slave system independent working model is useful for small-sale greenhouses.(3) For the demand of greenhouse sensor system, this paper designed temperature sensor system, humidity sensor system and light sensor system.(4) Studied the greenhouse slave system implement scheme. Base on the SCM system, designed and implemented the hardware and software of greenhouse control system. The results show that the investment cost is lower, the system has good scalability and it can finish greenhouse control independently and completely.(5) Studied of greenhouse host system implement scheme, designed and implemented the PC systems and database management systems, the results showed that the system has powerful functions, which can achieve greenhouse data management and statistical data analysis.(6) This paper developed a controlling means for greenhouse, which combine fuzzy control technology and expert database technology together according to the demand of greenhouse control, and we designed and implemented the fuzzy controller for greenhouse.The system on-the-spot test shows that such system meets the requirement of variable greenhouse environments and it has precise control, and this system not only stable and reliable but flexible for different scenarios as well.
