Keyword recognition is a very important part of automatic speech recognition. If we can get a breakthrough in this area, we will broaden the application of automatic speech recognition. In our text we first give a survey of the current keyword recognition methods. Through analyzing several representative measures we know that there still several troubles exist, such as the extract of the filler model, the complexity in the algorithm, the detecting and segmenting of the endpoint in continuous speech, and et al. Then we give an introduction of the biomimetic pattern recognition theory from the perspective of geometry. From analyzing the relationship of the high dimensional finite subspace and simplex, we get the conclusion that simplex can be a basis element of the convex hull to construct any form of finite subspace. This conclusion becomes the mathematic basis of our training and recognition algorithm. In the training phase, we choose word as the basis recognition cell, and propose a new feature extraction method for the keyword samples. After that we directly use the biomimetic pattern recognition theory and construct the high dimensional covering areas for the feature extracted keyword samples. For the filler we don't need to construct any model, so our vocabulary can be open.In the recognition part, we use the dynamic searching algorithm which is based on the high dimensional space covering theory, and directly search the continuous speech without endpoint detecting and segmenting. Then we get the minimal distance to time curve of the continuous speech to each keyword covering area, from this curve we can know the existence and the number of any keyword. The experiment results have proved the validity of the algorithm.
