The Research Of Web Server On Embedded System

It has been more than 30 years since the embedded system had been invented.In the recent years,the embedded system has become more and more powerful with the development of CMOS technology.The embedded CPUs have outnumbered the general CPU.Since the invention of the first ARM prototype in Cambridge in England,the 32-bit ARM RISC CPU has been used in all kinds of fields and it has occupied most market of the 32-bit application.With the popularization of automation system in industry and with the development and application of computer network,the network is sure to be used in industrial application.It will be exigent of the remote monitoring and control used in industrial devices.The paper mainly describes the found of the embedded web server.First, to the embedded system design,the choice of the hardware is very important.This would influence the choice of the embedded operating system.This paper uses the S3C4510B microprocessor to construct the hardware platform,analyses the system structure characteristic of ARM7TDMI and the function module of S3C4510B,and describes the main peripheral circuit used in the system.Second, this paper analyses the key technology of applying uClinux to the embedded system, including the kernel architecture, memory management, multithreading management, etc.It also analyses the similarities and differences of these key technology between the uClinux and the standard Linux, and especially emphasizes the memory management,because the memory management mechanism is changed much from the standard Linux to uClinux.Then based above,some related techniques are deep researched including the system architecture and the principle of TCP/IP protocol which are the communication protocols in the Embedded Interaet,realization process of the dynamic communication between Browser and Server etc.After that,this paper realized a Web Server.With the development of society, the traditional Web Server has already can't satisfy the need of some situations. Building the embedded web server is exactly for making up the shortage of traditional server. Differ from traditional web server, it has characteristics of briefness, cheap, perfect function and strong general use etc. It can provide a customer telnet the server, interview it and do some control. It can get an application in various situations such as remote control, intelligent family electric appliances and the share of information.
